Renegade Riddims: Crate Classics

Crate Classics is a DJ and Production duo made up of Jamie Rodigan and Aaron Horn. Hailing from West London the pair met around 10 years ago through some mutual friends. Drawing on their mixed history, their sound has been described as “a gloriously summery mash-up of musical styles”. However, they describe their sound as “pop and dancehall merging into blissful island rhythms”.

Their joint career highlights include hitting the number 1 spot in the UK Singles Chart and selling over a million records with their previous project Sam And The Womp as well as supporting MIA and touring with Kranium, Mark Ronson and Disclosure. Previous collaborations include Runkus, Iotosh, Bella Blair and remixes for Trojan and Partisan Records. They’ve also collaborated with legends such as Capleton, Potential Badboy and Chatta B. At the same time as working with some of the hottest new artists Eliza Legzdina and Yung Saber with lots more to announce.

Recent Crate Classics singles have seen support across the airwaves from BBC Radio1, BBC Radio 1Xtra, Capital Xtra, Reprezent and NTS. More releases will be coming to you every month.
