Kus.ok is a Techno DJ & Producer currently based in Barcelona, Spain.

Starting her journey into electronic music as a club kid, it didn’t take long for the young producer to find talent in and become involved in the industry.

Since 2018 Kus.ok has been mixing on the tables and her progress has naturally evolved into multi-genre productions. While the DJ’s top genre is techno, Kus.ok plays in the sand of other genres often.

Today, she joins the NUDE Techno podcast, with an hour of Techno. Listen to it below on SoundCloud & Mixcloud. If you are feeling this series, then please consider supporting it on Mixcloud Select.

Sum up this podcast in 10 words
This set was recorded while it was raining in Barcelona, so I wanted to brighten up the mood of the day.

What’s the special ingredient in this mix?
I like to mix different shades of techno so for example here you can listen to acid techno or industrial techno and then come back to more commercial sound. So let’s say diversity is a special ingredient here.

What’s your personal favourite track on it?
I’ve recently started to follow Vladimir Dubyshkin works, and his style caught me. So that track “Elvis Has Left the Building” got under my skin.

Tell us about your next EP?
I’m currently working on a couple of tracks. One of them hopefully will be released in the beginning of 2022. It has a melodic vibe, though the track is quite fast.

What have you got coming up?
Looking forward to 2022, because 2021 was full of surprises. If everything turns out all right, more gigs, releases and continue working for IAMT Music Group with Spartaque and Greenjack, because I believe we are on the right path there.

And finally, do you have a special message for our readers?
Early greetings on Christmas holidays and I hope you’ll enjoy the podcast. Hugs!

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
