Underground Liverpool launches



A brand new venue in Liverpool has opened called Underground.

Based in the vibrant Rainbow Quarter, it’s the North West city’s brand new clubbing space, a brilliantly versatile venue which looks to bring a new dynamic to the city’s cutting edge dance music scene, bringing a program that showcases some of the finest names in house and techno.

Starting things off on Friday October 14th for the official opening party with Ben Klock joined by DJ Deep and Pangaea, with Freeze resident Jemmy flying the flag for local talent.

The rest of the opening line-ups include VIVa Warriors stalwart Jacky bringing his Jacky & Friends concept to the city for a free party.  A bi-monthly residency will welcome Leftwing & Kody on Saturday 22nd October. Insomnia welcome Pawsa and SEFF to the venue on November 19th, whilst a week later seeing Mode team up with the Twisted Fusion record label with Dale Howard headlining. December has Vintage on Saturday 3rd with live P.A.’s from Julie McKnight and Laura Vane, alongside Liverpool legend Anton Powers to kick off the month.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
