South West Four‘s drum & bass line up just got bigger as they announce that Playaz with be curating one of their massive stages on the Saturday and Sub Focus will be playing Live on Sunday, this all takes places across Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th August on their home of Clapham Common, London.

A juggernaut of the electronic music, Sub Focus is one of the key players in the dance music scene and his constant output of top class productions and performances are what we love here at Data Transmission. This summer he drops his Version 2.0, which promises to be larger, louder and more exciting and he joins the likes of Deadmau5 & Knife Party as Live acts on the Sunday.

Being one of the biggest labels of a hugely competitive drum & bass scene is no easy feat but Playaz are firmly in the elite. Since it’s inception twenty years go, Playaz have stuck to their values and are constantly bringing a new generation of producers and artists through the ranks. Known by many to be an absolute wizard on the decks, DJ Hype is one of the most respected drum and bass DJs to ever step foot on this planet. His all-domineering Playaz label has gone from strength to strength each year with standout and sell-out events across many high-profile clubs.

The lineup for their stage is as you’d expect massive including Netsky, Hype b2b Hazard, Camo & Krooked b2b Friction, Goldie b2b My Nu Leng, Fabio & Grooverider b2b Marky, High Contrast, SASASAS, Heartless Crew, Congo Natty, Dimension AV show, Taxman b2b Sub Zero, Turno b2b Annix and MCs on the day include Daddyearl, Eksman, IC3, GQ, Unknown.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
