Purple Disco Machine & Aeroplane announce new single

Sultry sounds from two of Data Transmission favourite artists in the shape of Aeroplane and Purple Disco Machine, as the team delivers a steaming piece of deep house in ‘Sambal’.

Vito De Luca aka Aeroplane, the Italian-Belgian producer, has established himself as a party-starting DJ, a remixer du jour, and a pioneer of the nu-disco and Balearica music scene. His unique “analog house” sound and distinct writing style sets him apart from the rest.  Whereas The Purple Disco Machine is firing on all cylinders and there’s no sign of the production line slowing down anytime soon  The inventor of the Deep Funk sound is having an amazing year!

The track has been a label ID for Spinnin Records for the last few weeks, getting great support in the club scene, played on Pete Tong’s radio show last weekend and lots of other DJ support incl. Tensnake, Dimitri From Paris, Claude VonStroke, Gorgon City, Dennis Ferrer, Secret Cinema, Wankelmut, Klangkarussell, Richy Ahmed, Sam Feldt as well as lots of plays from the Ibiza jocks.

Is that a steel drum captivating the floor, while a nicely flowing bass and percussion are getting things moving? For sure, ‘Sambal’ is hot stuff (pun intended), making it perhaps the ultimate anthem of summer 2016.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
