Premiere: Rumah – Brief Reel

London-based Rumah offers his unique take on peak time techno.

After contributions earlier this year to the Wolfskuil’s 1st Secret Weapons and the 20 years compilation of James Ruskin’s legendary Blueprint, he’s now debuting in solo on Darko Esser’s Wolfskuil with his brilliant ‘A View To The Sea EP.’

The EP opens with the dynamic, multilayered atmosphere of the loop driven ’A View To The Sea’ followed by ’Tobsha,’ which rushes in with Detroit infused riffs and echoing vocal samples.

On the flip side ‘DOR’ kicks off with a sinister groove and a concrete, infectious rhythm, genuinely combined with fading melodic pads. The closing track our debut transmission ‘Brief Reel’ starts off stripped to each analogue elements, slowly building up to a track perfectly suited for closing a set.
