German tech and house tastemakers Piemont are back with another of their high impact EPs. Entitled ‘Swung Blind’, it comes on their new Moonless Air label, it features two top tracks.
This pair have long been turning out underground hits on labels like My Best Friend and Plumbum and so they really know how to construct a killer groove. On the first cut and our debut transmission ‘Icy Earth’ we find the pair in slinky house mood. They create some magic synths that twinkle brightly above a drum line that feels fun and uplifting. It’s a fat track that will get the floor marching. The flipside ‘Swung Blind’ is next and is a more heads down and deep tune with vocal chants stitched into the groove. Guitar riffs and shuffling percussion flesh it out and the whole thing is sure to make for some steamy nights.
