Premiere: Phaction – Should Have Known

A new name to some, but already turning the heads of many distinguished tastemakers–it’s time to get to know about Phaction. Having only been producing for a year or two, his ideas and sound belie this fact, showing a maturity and class that takes others years to develop. His love for soul, hip-hop, RnB, funk and a variety of music shine through on his tracks, making him a perfect fit for the CIA stable.

His ‘Signature Moves EP’ is comprised of five brand new tracks including our debut transmission ‘Should Have Known’, honed to perfection over the last couple of months in his Bristol studio. They showcase his ability to build meaningful musical hook seek out beautiful performances from vocalists and envisage, develop and finish complex yet catchy tracks that have a weight and finish to them that will make these tracks ones to keep coming back to again and again.
