Premiere: Gary Beck – Round My Place

Alan Fitzpatrick’s We Are The Brave label will soon already have 10 releases under its belt. After much success with their debut single “We Do What We Want” from Alan himself, that launched the label into the spotlight, following up with some serious dance floor beasts from Boxia, Darius Syrossian, Skober, and a remix from the late Trevino, We Are The Brave has firmly solidified its place in the electronic music scene.

Keeping it UK – this time straight out of Scotland, as Gary Beck makes his debut on WATB with our debut transmission ‘Round My Place’ has a mechanical vibe to it, powering some dark and eerie synth horns; “Classic Gary Beck – industrial and stripped back but with a distinctive, clever hook that creates a unique feel.”

Alan says about Gary: “Growing up in the scene together, Gary and I broke through around the same time, so we have always shared a special connection and enjoy working together. He’s also a top lad who I always enjoy playing alongside or bumping into at the airport. It was therefore a simple choice to sign these tracks.”

A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
