Mix Of The Day: Dr Meaker

We’ve got yet another exclusive treat for you dedicated DT readers today as Bristolian collective Dr Meaker step up to deliver the latest edition of our esteemed Mix Of The Day series.

Accessible without betraying their influences, the outfits blend of pop straddling drum and bass has us predicting big things, and we’re not the only ones tipping them for the big time with their last single ‘Right Back’ getting a lot of love on the airwaves and their new track ‘Freaks’ featuring Cappo D and Sharlene Hector already picking up plenty of support from the likes of Radio 1’s Mistajam.

Much like their productions, Dr Meaker mix flirts with a wide array of the various styles and sounds that constitute the broad D&B landscape, placing tracks from Hamilton and Rene Lavice alongside efforts from the likes of Hazard, Preditah and themselves.
