Max Kernmayer returns to Daylight Robbery Records with his ‘Resonate’ EP

Max Kernmayer returns to Daylight Robbery Records this time with Resonate EP. After the success of his ‘Jack On Acid’ EP which came out last year, the Austrian artist brings his raw underground sound once again to the label with two original cuts.

When Max gets behind the decks you are in for a high energy ride. Sub-heavy rolling basslines and jackin’ drums define his signature pumpin’ sound. As a DJ Max already rocked all the good clubs in his hometown Vienna such as Das Werk, Grelle Forelle, Pratersauna, Sass, Flex and many more. He also made appearances lately at Lighthouse Festival (Croatia), Rotunde Bochum and the EuroPride Parade 2019. Max is part of the hausgemacht crew, who are organizing some of the best parties in Vienna.

But playing only other people’s music was never enough for Max, so he decided to start producing his own tunes in 2014. Today Max has a steady release schedule, releasing his originals and remixes regularly with labels such as Daylight Robbery Records (UK), Eight0Eight Records (UK), Hood Politics Records (US), Delicious Recordings (BRA), Space Invaders Records (ESP) and many more. Nowadays you will hear a lot of his own productions in Max’s DJ sets as he describes it as “such a great feeling to play the stuff you’ve been working on for a long time in the studio in the club and dance together with the people on the dancefloor”.

Today, we premiere ‘Resonate’ from the EP, check out below and grab it here.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
