Mano Le Tough Streams ‘I See Myself In You’

Permanent Vacation’s favourite Irishman, Mano Le Tough, has unveiled ‘I See Myself In You’, a track from his second album for the label, ‘Trails’.

Mano, real name Niall Mannion has seen his career take a fairly meteoric rise upwards over the last few years with the 2013 release of his critically acclaimed debut album Changing Days quickly propelling him into the upper echelons of electronic music. Last year saw him focus on work in the DJ booth, relaxing a solitary three track EP via his Maeve imprint as he embarked upon the most hectic of touring schedules, playing over 100 gigs around the globe. It was this time on the road where the album first began to take shape before coming together as he decamped to the Swiss countryside to take a well earned break from DJing. Formulated whilst taking long meditative runs through the hills and forests overlooking Lake Zürich, the LP features a number of Mannion’s own vocals as he sought to capture a “flood of inspiration” sonically.

Out now and and continuing to showcase his much vaunted versatility, with the various tracks on offer designed around different emotions we hope that the album retains the high energy improvisational tone that has long been the signature sound of his DJ performances. Released on double-vinyl, CD and digital formats it’s certainly brightened up our office as the nights have drawn in.
