London gets a Major New Venue, Magazine London in 2019



London is getting a brand new event space in summer 2019 – Magazine London.

Conceived by Venue Lab – a Vibration Group company, yep those are the guys that created Printworks London – Magazine London is a multi-million-pound joint investment in a new cultural destination for London and a brand new event spaces in the city.

They are building Magazine from the ground-up in the heart of Greenwich Peninsula and will stand on the riverbank with stunning views of Canary Wharf and will offer a flexible 3000 capacity venue. In addition to the indoor space, Magazine London has an adjoining Showground space – a landscaped environment on the banks of the Thames boasting a capacity of 7,000 – delivering a combined capacity of 10,000 ravers, opening up the potential for festivals and outdoor concerts.

Also with North Greenwich Tube station is less than 300m away – Magazine London is only 8 minutes travel time from central London.

It’s gonna be an exciting time next summer!

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
