Kyle Roberton teams up with Paul Armstrong on ‘What Did They’

Share

Passion, spontaneity and innovation. Attributes of the finest DJ’s on the planet. Kyle Robertson ticks all three boxes.

Kyle started working at gatecrasher as a promoter, earned his stripes and worked his way up in the game. He has been delivering effective, dynamic and crowd pleasing sets for over 15 years, and in particular around the North of England. Charged, The Plug, Tramlines, Gatecrasher & DQ are amongst the many venues and nights he has held residencies and played at.

Having played alongside some shining stars of the DJ world it’s understandable that his talents have been recognised. Micky Slim, Riley & Durrant, Hannah Wants, Herve, Jaguar Skills, The Squatters & Krafty Cuts are just a few.

Continuing to demonstrate his growing appeal in recent months, Kyle has had releases on WyldCard, Reshape Black and Eskape Muzik. With Remixes and collaborations with the likes of Vanilla Ace, Amy Lauren and Luca Lazza, Kyle’s pipeline of beats are stacking up nicely.

Returning to ‘Erase Records’ with his best pal, Paul Armstrong, ‘What Did They Say’ is no doubt a tune you’ll have on your USB to celebrate normality after lockdown.

With a solid bass line, big synths, crisps hats and the catchiest of vocals, it’s guaranteed to do some damage in the clubs.

This summer won’t be a cruel one! Check it out here and grab it on Beatport.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
