Keinemusik brings their 10th Anniversary to London

Although the summer weather is yet to arrive, the UK summer season is off to a strong start, in the world of events. As we near the midpoint of the season and with Glastonbury completed there is one event on everyone lips, Notting Hill Carnival.

Underground promoter Labyrinth brings the Keinemusik crew to West London for a one-off 10th anniversary Carnival special show in the unique Loft Studios (White City) on the 28th August 2019.

This is not the first time the promoter and label come together, last year (and in 2017) they put on an epic Keinemusik show in the Steelyard, which became a sold out night demonstrating why both brands are not to be taken likely in regards to putting on a party.

Keinemusik consists of Rampa, &ME, Adam Port & Reznik. The collective single handily runs the label and control the output, which is always from one of the four. Along with fire releases over the past 10 years, they issue out a monthly radio show podcast in the form of a DJ set from one of the members or occasionally allowing a guest to grace there brand. Rampa has had releases recently on the Circoloco label and the mighty Innervisions. While &ME has enjoyed possibly the track of last year on the infamous Pampa Records. Adam Port has come from strength to strength this year with numerous Keinemusik releases, Dynamic and most recently an epic release on Anjunadeep.

Through speaking to Nick Castle (the owner of Labyrinth, and opening act for the Carnival spectacular) he describes the coming party as an afro carnival musical experience for the eyes and the ears. If decor is anything to go by, prepare to be impressed, just look at the pictures from last year Keinemusik showcase, where the London based promoter transformed the arches club to a plant paradise, which would make Green Ivy envious (apologise the Batman reference). They plan to deck out the Loft studios to create a mini carnival in the West London venue to match the street party, which will be a perfect fit to match the soundtrack by the Berlin-based foursome.

Don’t sleep on this event as it will sell out! You can grab a ticket here or need a hotel head to booking.com

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
