Floating Points Shares ‘Nespole’ Video

Following on from news that he had signed his hotly anticipated debut album ‘Elaenia’ to Luaka Bop and Pluto Records, Sam Shepherd, better known by his musical moniker Floating Points has unveiled the the official video to the 7 track effort’s opening number ‘Nespole’.

Directed and produced by Sander Houtkruijer, the clip features some slick choreography from acclaimed dancer Kiani Del Valle as she grooves away to FP’s hypnotic soundtrack. Shepherd’s sound has progressed over the years, incorporating a plethora of different stylings from across the electronic spectrum, Points has his roots in classical, seemlessly blending it with forward thinking sounds around a digital aesthetic. Continuing with this melting pot sound, his album promises to be a snapshot of exactly where he’s at in 2015.
