First Look: Pioneer DJ DDJ-1000SRT Overview with Point Blank
Pioneer DJ have just unveiled the brand-new addition to their DDJ controller family, the Pioneer DJ DDJ-1000SRT.
Prior to its release, Point Blank Music School was given one of the consoles to test out and explore the new features. Aside from the Serato-compatible controller’s stylish LCD jog wheel displays, heavy-weight CDJ plates and Pioneer DJ standard effects controls, it has a great deal to offer. The DDJ-1000SRT includes a variety of tactile features which are both advantageous and incredibly fun to use such as the Beat Jump function, auto key matching and Serato Sampler to name a few.

They delve into the key sync feature which, if you’ve enabled the pitch and time plugin in Serato, allows you to auto Key Match your tracks and make your mixes more harmonic. In addition to exploring the mixer effects and inputs/outputs, they demonstrate exactly why these new jog wheel screens are a fantastic addition.
