DT765 – Go Freek
Share
Australian global dance export, Go Freek, is about as fond of generic club music as he is about correct spelling. After founding his signature “Gutter Tech”, it was not long before he was playing boat parties in Croatia alongside the likes of Claude VonStroke and hitting stages at festivals such as EDC Las Vegas, Paradisco and Beyond Wonderland.
Signing early to electronic label, and global tastemaker in dance music, Sweat It Out, it didn’t take long before some of the worlds biggest artists took note as Go Freek shot from a label young blood to Sweat It Out main man.
Multiple ARIA Club Chart Top 10s is commonplace for Go Freek releases peaking with his record-breaking #1 collaboration with Dom Dolla on ‘Define’. It did not take long for radio to follow suit with plays and rotation adds on Triple J and EDC iHeart Radio to name a few!
With all of this success, it wasn’t long before some of the worlds highest profile artists and labels came knocking for the Gutter Tech touch; with Caleb being handpicked to work with icon’s like Crookers, Steve Aoki, Astonomar, and Bart B More, to remixes on industry juggernauts like Mad Decent, Dim Mak, and Ministry of Sound.
Having received consistent support from the likes of Idris Elba, FISHER, Camelphat, Claptone, Anna Lunoe, Christian Martin, Porter Robinson and Diplo to name a few, Go Freek has readily filled a gap in modern dance music with his own unique sound and an unforgettable live presence. With new music dropping on Musical Freedom, Solotoko & course home turf Sweat It Out, plus recent remixes for Choomba on Spinnin Deep and Deadmau5 + Wolfgang Gartner on Hau5trap it’s safe to say the future looks bright for Go Freek.
