Debut Transmission: A.M.C – Die Hard
Titan Records boss A.M.C steps up to the plate for the label’s 23rd release, a subtle yet forceful five tracker of sophisticated neuro inspired drum and bass that veers away from tried and tested tropes whilst still staying faithful to the genre.
It’s assured, chunky but slinky at the same time, with high pressure sub bass cushioning the ripping, bleepy synth work that runs the tunes. The drums are rolling and dancefloor ready, but minimal and tasteful, in short the Southpaw EP is probably the best work A.M.C has done so far with no track outshining the other – which is as you already know, no mean feat.
We are lucky enough to have the pleasure of exclusively premiering the Bruce Willis and Alan Rickman of tunes from the EP, Die Hard; a number that sees John McClane synth work battling it out with Hans Gruber drum patterns… Welcome to the party pal!
