Color is back on My Techno Weighs A Ton with ‘Ella Werk’

Share

Los Angeles based Color is back for her 4th release with My Techno Weighs A Ton with ‘Ella Werk’.

For this (again weird a wonderful) track she features vocals of Mya Befierce. Mya is a Latino LA-based professional drag queen from the famous House of Befierce. She hosts club events and private parties all over LA. She’s exotic, funny and full of passion for the stage and Mya’s entertaining, hilarious and colourful character inspired Color to work with her. They also produced a music video for the track which Color directed and edited herself.

Color spends her time collecting sounds from her world travels, in her studio in Malibu California, DJ-ing in clubs around LA, Mexico and beyond, and swimming in the ocean.

Both tracks are quality Color again, techy, unconventional and bass-fuelled. We premiere the lead track ‘Ella Werk’ for you today. Check it out below and grab it here.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
