Alfie Cridland x Covenants Drop Tech House Weapon ‘It Was All A Dream’

‘It Was All A Dream’ is the new single from multi-genre producer, Alfie Cridland and rising UK duo, Covenants, where that infamous Biggie lyric – originally heard on ‘Juicy’ – weaves its way through a driving tech house weapon.
Released via London’s indie imprint, Perfect Havoc, the hype around this single began late last year when it was released as an ID.
It’s since gone on to pick up tastemaker support from ACRAZE, Miane (Moon Harbour), Sam Divine, David Tort, Fedde Le Grand and many more. And with four spins already on KISS FM from TCTS, it’s no wonder the track is blowing up.
As a producer, UK breaking artist Alfie Cridland is known for his more commercial house offerings (his track ‘New Levels’ with Tobtok and Milwin has streamed over 20 million times), but as a DJ, he’s a selector of all things electronic, R&B and hip hop.
Cridland’s clever mash ups and cross-genre mixing saw him take first place in Nathan Dawe’s DJ comp in search of the next generation in DJ talent.
“It’s the perfect anthem to tear any nightclub apart! As a multi genre DJ, I love to play a mix of hip hop, R&B, house, tech and more, so it felt natural to throw these all together into one massive track. The vibe on this is so different to what I’ve put out before so I can’t wait to see the reaction when I showcase it in my live sets.”

Rising stars Covenants are the multi-platinum selling producer, Alan La Porte, and classically trained musician Shane Thomas. Following their debut single ‘Deeper Love’ on Hardwell’s Gemstone and subsequent signings to Ego, Uprise Music and Selected, Covenants are poised to breakthrough in a big way.
