Jefton releases his ‘Come to the Warehouse’ EP



Up next on the Out of Nowhere imprint, we have a 3 tracker, titled ‘Come to the Warehouse’ EP from Jefton.

Jefton is a London based DJ & Producer who has been active in the scene under various alias’ since the mid naughties, holding residencies at The Cross, Turnmills, Egg and Pacha London as well as playing for Space, The End, Fire, Mixmag, Bedrock, Circus, Eden, Ministry of Sound, Lock & Load Events and loads of other great parties in the UK and abroad. Since turning his hand to production in 2010, his music has already been supported by Maceo Plex, Roger Sanchez, Cristoph, Denney, Huxley, DJ Sneak and many more.

The whole EP is inspired by the Hardcore/Rave era, which Jefton grew up listening to. All 3 tracks are on a similar modern Tech House vibe, designed for peak time with 909 drums, big basslines, distinctive stabs and cut up vocal samples featuring heavily.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
