With releases on Psycho Disco, Perfect Driver, Nite Records, Mos Gyegst, House of Hustle, Billions and Mass Records, Grensta has proven to be a musical force and an essential part of the house music scene. He began his DJ career in college playing house parties at Chico State. By the time he received his degree, his sound and style evolved into a hybrid of dirty bass and soulful house that propelled him into the SF Bay Area music scene.

Fans have been receptive, drawing huge crowds at local San Francisco clubs like Ruby Skye, 1015 Folsom, Temple, and Monarch as well as California festivals such as Lucidity, Northern Nights and Outside Lands. No matter how big or small the club or festival, Grensta brings a dynamic underground ethic to every show, reminiscent of the days when the DJs weren’t even visible on the dancefloor. This attitude is reinforced by his unique production approach, as his tracks emote a fresh interpretation of classic deep house using smooth builds and infectious bass lines with crunchy analog leads that drive his audience forward.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
