Share

The Beat Hotel (perhaps best known from its stage at Glastonbury festival) has announced a four-day cultural escape on the outskirts of Marrakech from the 28th–31st March 2019.

Taking place in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, the Beat Hotel’s first international adventure is set to feature a line-up of live music including an all-female collective Deep Throat Choir bringing their intricately layered vocal arrangements to the inaugural show.

They’ve got a great selection of DJs including Maribou State, Andrew Weatherall, HuneeHaaiGerd Janson, Gilles Peterson and one-off culinary collaborations showcasing Morocco’s rich flavours and produce.

Finally, they have a great talks programme with some of today’s great minds and voices including Irvine Welsh all set in a stunning location.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
