DGTL Festival has just announced the first part of its 2016 line-up.

The first release of artists to feature at the NDSM Docklands over the 26th & 27th March contains a solid selection of highbrow DJ/producer talent and consolidated acts that have earned their stripes in the field of quality electronica, exhibiting myriad different styles and musical colours. Topping the bill of this first release are Nina Kraviz, Agoria, Âme, Bobono, Job Jobse, Hot Since 82, Mano Le Tough and RØDHÅD.

The absolute tour de force here is Nina Kraviz (if you missed our previous interview with her check it here), the Russian purveyor of the acid sound, head of techno label трип (Trip), and all-round expert in destroying dance floors the world over. Nina has gained a reputation for disseminating her tastes in lush, dirty techno and house with a distinctive edge. From a different dance music spectrum you brace yourself for Bonobo (DJ-set), who recently left his mark in Amsterdam during DGTL Presents Maya Jane Coles. DGTL is also proud to present RØDHÅD, one of the leading men behind minimalistic techno echelon Dystopian.

Making his return to the center stage is refined Englishman Hot Since 82, who will surely break down the stage in good old fashion with his signature selection of incredible house records. Another key artist in the first release is Âme [DJ-set], whom is widely favoured by the Dutch crowd for his performances at the late Club Trouw. Two other regulars there that need ample introduction are Maeve co-founder Mano le Tough and Job Jobse, whose meteoric rise in the international scene hasn’t gone unnoticed. Finally, DGTL Festival is also returning with a performance by Agoria. The Frenchman’s dark, brooding approach to dance music had already resulted in many memorable appearances at earlier editions of the festival.

All artists announced are Agoria, Âme, Andhim, Applescal, Bonobo (DJ-set), DJ Tennis, Gold Panda [LIVE], Hot Since 82, KiNK [LIVE], Mano Le Tough, N’to [LIVE], Nina Kraviz, Noir, Red Axes, RØDHÅD, Romare [LIVE], Tom Trago and Young Marco

Mark the 25th of November in your agenda because on that day DGTL Festival’s full line up will be announced, together with the presale ticket release. Expect, just like previous years, innovative stage designs, art installations from around the world and sustainable innovation through our DGTL Revolution project.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
