Need For Mirrors drops his ‘Royal Blood’ EP on ProgRAM

Need For Mirrors aka Joe Moses is a guy who needs little to no introduction since tearing on to the scene almost 10 years ago. He has consistently produced high quality original material and released music on the most respected labels.

His debut album ‘Swim’ has been one of the most played albums in our office in recent months. The way NFM uses influences from the past, present and future and incorporates so many different styles in his music is absolute genius, he’s been massively underrated.

Need For Mirrors first appeared on ProgRAM about a year ago with his ‘Veto’ EP and that’s where he returns with his new EP ‘Royal Blood’. Four cuts deep with an array of styles. We premiere ‘Midnight at Morleys’ which wobbles over rolling beats, subtle conga rides and distorted vocal patches.

Need For Mirrors says of ‘Royal Blood’:

“It’s great to be starting the year with another EP for ProgRAM. After the success of the ‘Veto’ EP

I wanted to come back with a follow up that was a progressive leap on from that project. ‘Royal Blood’ had been a staple down at my club night Soul In Motion and set the tone for the EP to build from, whilst the rest of the EP connects the thread to ‘Veto’ but still brings something different.”
