Deadline drop their new single ‘Dreamer’

Captivating dance floor Drum & Bass with ethereal textures and a haunting vocal hook, ‘Dreamer’ is the fourth single from London duo Deadline. Packing a heavy, high-energy punch, Deadline wanted to subvert their fans’ expectations and showcase some of their more dancefloor inspired music with this release.
Deadline are one of the most exciting next-generation acts currently making moves in Drum & Bass. Not only does ‘Dreamer’ usher in a previously unheard sound for Deadline, but also a new confidence as it’s the first track to be released on their own imprint. This will closely be followed by another new single next month, a double A-side to ‘Dreamer’.

“Our taste in drum & bass spans across sub-genres, and our hope for this single is that it connects with likeminded listeners. We spent a long time working on the sonic palette in this track and are really proud of how the elements combine to create the atmospheric vibe of the record.” – Deadline
Releasing your first music during a global pandemic may be a risk, but it’s one which has paid off so far for Deadline. Their first instalments – ‘Dominoes’ featuring D&B favourite Charlotte Haining, ‘Buttons’ with fellow one-to-watch Emily Makis, and ’Never Be Alone’ featuring the formidable Alexa Harley – were released to strong support from BBC Radio 1, New Zealand’s George FM, and all three received UKF premieres, not to mention a selection of Spotify editorial playlist inclusions.
They also delivered a much-coveted guest mix for René LaVice’s BBC Radio 1 show. The singles also gained support from some of the biggest names in the scene including Sub Focus, Andy C, Friction, Hybrid Minds, Koven and many more.
As the year progresses, Deadline are truly cementing themselves as ones to watch in the drum & bass scene, and beyond.
