Stefan Seay releases his ‘Chicago’ EP

Los Angeles underground staple, Stefan Seay, came up with an ode to the birthplace of house music while clubbing in Paris. The result is “Chicago” his debut single on LA-based Understated Recordings, complete with remixes from Michael Fam, Dominic Marceux, Julian Montenegro, and WhereIsFenix. Chicago is out everywhere this Friday, Nov. 22nd.

“Very happy to share with the world my next release. CHICAGO. The birthplace of house music. The birthplace of my first influence in dance music (Felix Da Housecat). The story goes as such: While visiting Paris this past March, I linked up with Clyde P, Amine Edge & DANCE and DAAAMN at The Key Paris. While I was on the dancefloor just vibing, I keep repeating to myself “Chicago” over the selections. The crowd was doing the “woo-woo” as we all love (Some argue it’s too intrusive…Sorry but I love it) and it’s just fit so well in my mind. I essentially wrote the song in my mind throughout the rest of my travels in France and upon my return to my little bedroom studio, I sat down and finished the track in two days. I couldn’t be happier with the result and am so excited to share with you the remixes that have come in.” – Stefan Seay

We premiere ‘Chicago’ below and grab a copy here.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
