Italian groove architect Gioele Cantoni, better known as ProOne79, doesn’t just channel the energy of the dancefloor; he lives in it. Raised on the raw hedonism of Sardinia’s 90s club scene, he’s gone from wide-eyed raver to full-blown selector, turning his obsession with Chicago jack and Detroit grit into a wild blend of acid-drenched house and thumping techno.

After making his Moveltraxx debut in 2025 alongside royalty like Armand Van Helden and DJ Slugo, he’s now back with a solo mission: ‘Freedom 303’. It’s chunky, it’s squelchy, and it’s custom-built for basement lock-ins and sticky sunrise moments on the rooftop.

The title cut rolls in with a snaking acid line and a heavyweight kick that doesn’t ask for permission. It demands movement. There’s that signature ProOne79 bounce, laced with twisted FX and the kind of hi-hats that would’ve shut down Dance Valley in ‘97.

This one isn’t polite, it’s peak-time chaos for heads who like it rough around the edges. Think Nervous Grooves in a Flashmob sweatbox with just a hint of Circus mischief.
