Nicole Fiallo launches A Mi Ritmo Records

Nicole Fiallo launches A Mi Ritmo Records on September 18th with ‘Llego La Rumba’, a Latin-charged house cut that puts the label’s intentions straight on the table.

The new imprint comes from Fiallo’s own experience as an independent artist, with a focus on transparency, partnership and creating a release process where artists actually feel respected. It’s not simply being built as a home for her own records either, the idea is to develop something other producers can be part of.

The Miami-based Cuban-American producer has already built a strong catalogue through Nervous Records, HoTL Records, Transmit Recordings and Made In Miami, with support from Dennis Cruz, Luciano, Oscar G and Stacey Pullen along the way.

Nicole Fiallo’s ‘Llego La Rumba’ gets straight to work. Rolling percussion, Cuban-inspired piano, flashes of brass and playful vocals keep the groove moving, with enough weight underneath it for basements, terraces and those late-night rooms where percussion does most of the talking.

When I decided to finally pull the trigger and launch my label, I had one goal in mind: to release music that isn’t afraid to be different, doesn’t fit the “usual mold,” and, above all, is simply fun. After creating “Llego La Rumba,” I knew it had to be the very first release. To me, it captures the spirit I hope to bring to the label. “Llego La Rumba” means “the party has arrived” in Spanish, and I feel it’s the perfect track to mark the beginning of this new chapter.

It’s a strong first marker for A Mi Ritmo Records, rooted in Fiallo’s Cuban heritage but built firmly for the house floor.

We’re premiering ‘Llego La Rumba’ today. Turn it up and grab it when it lands on September 18th.
