LEGATO announces his new single ‘Stay’

LEGATO announces his new single ‘Stay’ due out today on his self-titled label.

One of the freshest voices coming out of the UK house underground – as recently featured in Magnetic Mag, Undrtone and multiple Spotify and Apple Music playlists – LEGATO is back in 2024 and is now releasing his music via LabelWorx.

The second single Stay sees LEGATO fuse classic piano house with exquisite modern production, melodic sensibilities and stunning soundscapes.

The evocative piano hook is matched by a yearning vocal cut, punchy bassline and a slapping percussive groove setting it up to be one of 2024’s summer anthems in the club circuit – with top DJs Lane 8, Elderbrook, Icarus, Preditah, Horse Meat Disco and Sam Divine all already giving the track love.

Come Stay in a summer paradise with LEGATO.

James Stanley a.k.a LEGATO has carved a path as one of the freshest voices coming out of the UK house underground. His LEGATO project launched in 2019 with impactful releases on Eton Messy, Nightcolours, Anjunadeep and All Day I Dream seeing the artist amass 6m streams and regularly holding #1 on Beatport’s Melodic House and Organic House charts.

Now partnered with LabelWorx and with a new team around him, LEGATO is looking to make moves in 2024 and beyond.

We premiere ‘Stay’ on Data Transmission, check it out here and grab it on Beatport and stream it here.

A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
