Josh Burnett is not here to mess about. The Manchester groove merchant lands a big one on Stacey Pullen’s Blackflag Recordings with his label debut Jus’ Tryin – and it’s pure terrace heat.

Built for the heads and the hips, the title cut Jus’ Tryin rolls in with tight, bubbling percussion, chopped-up R&B licks, and just the right amount of attitude. It’s slick, it’s sweaty, and it sounds like 5am on a packed floor where no one’s going home.
