Jacq (UK) teams up with Rowetta On Incorrect Music

Share

Hot off the back of an emphatic 2021 which saw JACQ release several times on Laidback Luke’s Mixmash Records and Wh0 Plays Records, reaching the top ten regularly in the Beatport charts while amassing 200k+ streams across all platforms. Plus regular support from BBC Radio 1’s Danny Howard, Chris Lake and Dombresky.

JACQ has wasted no time, kicking off 2022 in emphatic style with this two-track EP on Incorrect Music

First up is ‘Reach’ featuring one of the most in-demand house vocalists right now Rowetta. The track is centred around subtle synth work building with a stripped back breakdown packed with emotion and energetic vocals from Rowetta, creating what is set to be a timeless house cut.

The second track on the EP ‘What Happened’ combines a groovy bassline with an expansive synth, all tied together by an infectious vocal hook. Set to send dance-floors into raptures.

JACQ ‘Reach EP’ is out on Incorrect Music on Friday 28th January, 2022. We premiere ‘What Happened’ today on Data Transmission, check it out here and grab it on Beatport.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
