Jack Whitworth lands on Roush with ‘No Kicks’

Jack Whitworth lands in style on Roush with ‘No Kicks’, an impressive single that closes our intense month of July.

Following another great single track on acclaimed CUFF label, Jack Whitworth drops his first cut with us knowing that he’s getting nice support from big names such as Latmun or Detlef. He also runs his own label Sulko and plays regularly at Casita, an interesting party that takes place in London.

Regarding his Roush debut, ‘No Kicks’ opens things with a nice 909-rimshot swung pattern that goes evolving with subtle delays to make it more interesting. An acid bassline appears at the half of the track adding a spicy touch to such a nice production. The vocal shout placed before drops gives tension that is nicely resolved with the cymbal rides.

Jack Whitworth ‘No Kicks?’ drops on 24 July. We premiere the track today, check it out below and grab it here.
