Golden Gate and Jason Herd link with Jessie Wagner for ‘Carry On’, landing on Bohemian Disco from 28th August, and today we’re premiering Jason Herd’s ‘Most Obvious Dub’.

A fresh take on Martha Wash’s 90s classic, the original brings Golden Gate’s live disco and funk roots together with Herd’s house instincts and Wagner’s unmistakable vocal. But the dub is where things get properly late-night.

Jason strips it back and turns the pressure up, working a thick, bendy bassline around filtered strings, chopped vocals and a breakdown built for packed floors. Less singalong, more heads-down business.

Golden Gate have been building nicely through releases including ‘My Name Is Love’ with Inaya Day, while Herd’s Bohemian Disco imprint continues to pull together proper house pedigree, with Barbara Tucker, Kathy Brown, Roland Clark and Steve Edwards already passing through the label.

‘Carry On’ hits Traxsource promo on 28th August, with the full release following on 11th September.
