Don Bombilla returns to Marylebone Records with ‘Dreamcatcher’

Share

Scotland’s finest, Don Bombilla, is back with tech-house smash EP, ‘Dreamcatcher’ with Marylebone Records.

Inspired by the ‘duality of dreams and relationships’ according to the DJ/Producer, the titular track ‘Dreamcatcher’ is an energetic, uplifting tech house record that, through its rolling bassline and energetic stabs and drums, reflects the optimism and euphoria of a new relationship.

‘Haunted’ brings a deeper, more introspective track to the EP, exploring fears of losing your identity in a relationship that’s no good for you.

Whilst each track tells its own story, together they balance each other out. Bombilla describes the EP as inspired by the famous quote: “This too shall pass.”

He adds: “Dreams can quickly turn into nightmares, and vice versa, and the same is true in our relationships. I hope that this EP inspires its listeners to appreciate the good times while they have them and to push through the darker times knowing that the light will come back on again.”

‘Dreamcatcher’ is Bombilla’s second release on the fast-growing Marylebone Dance label, having been part of the Miami VA album earlier in the year with Your Answer and Momentum – a deeper, more progressive and melodic sound than we’re used to hearing from him.

‘Dreamcatcher’ EP lands on major streaming platforms on 22nd June 2022 through Marylebone Dance.
