Bump Ugly drops on Ciao Records with ‘Ugly’

London producer Fred Ireland aka Bump Ugly‘s love for underground dance music started as early as 12 years of age. After having been classically trained as a child, he then began to form what started as an interest, and later became an obsession with House and Techno music.

After recently releasing on the mighty Dirtybird and Enzo Siffredi‘s wired imprint with ‘No Entry’ for our debut transmission, he then released on the Ciao Records imprint, where he delivered a collaborative tune with the label’s very own MAGNVM! called “Turn a Trick”, for the label’s very first AAVV compilation dropped last January (Ciao Mania Vol.1).

He’s back on the label today with his Ciao EP featuring “Shake” and “Ugly”, which are both laidback club tunes, with and hypnotic booty-shaking attitude, a sound that resonates perfectly with the label’s mood.

We premiere ‘Ugly’ today.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
