Secret Garden Records launches with a fierce, acid-inflected house EP from founder and resident DJ Andy Gresh.
Andy Gresh is a Chicago born and based DJ/Producer well versed in house music’s origins. Adept at spinning everything from disco and classic Chicago grooves to peak-hour house and techno, Andy’s technical skills and energy shine through on every set, which have seen him open for DJs like John Summit, Derrick Carter, Chris Lake, Justin Martin, Walker & Royce, Max Chapman, Ron Carroll, Codes, Mikey Lion, Cocodrills, Oona Dahl and more.
Marking the inaugural release on the newly launched Secret Garden Records – as well as being Gresh’s debut EP – Acid Burn makes an immediate impact. The title track seethes with raw energy, its growling acid line complemented by thunderous bass and crisp percussion, while Acid Air Raid explores more groove-led territory, a sinewy bassline and scything synths creating a heady, intoxicating atmosphere.
The label offshoot of the renowned Chicago promotion outfit Secret Garden Sessions, Secret Garden Records will be releasing music across Chicago, tech and minimal house over the coming months and years.
