Altered Feast returns with ‘Star in the Sky’ EP

Share

Altered Feast returns to the label with singer Danielle Quinn for more house goodness on the ‘Star in the Sky’ EP.

The London duo have been making waves since forming in the summer of 2019, with multiple magazine support and radio plays for their tracks. That groundswell has also gotten them a bunch of high profile fans including DJ Caspa who supports each release. We’re barely scratching the surface at the moment, 2020 is going to be a defining year for Altered Feast.

Opening with the delightful ‘Star in The Sky’ Danielle’s angelic vocals lifts the 90’s flavoured groove head and shoulders above. Crisp hats keep time as shimmering Rhodes and bass notes add a deepness. A classy track for those warming up moments. By contrast, ‘Dub in the Sky’ works for the late-night crowds with a more visceral sound. Fresh from his recent Traxsource mix, Carlo adds his unique flavour with a rolling groove for our premiere today.

Check out the ‘Carlo remix’ below and grab it on Beatport.

A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
