High 5: Dyed Soundorom picks 5 Records never far away from his bag

Ahead of Off The Record Manchester in an warehouse space in Manchester this Friday 3rd July, Dyed Soundorom has Five records that are never too far from my record bag.

The master of all that is warm, deep and groovy, this is the one man that never disappoints when it comes to the music. These days more accustomed to playing the big rooms of DC10, Fabric & Panorama Bar, Off The Record offers a rare opportunity to experience Dyed’s music in a more up close and personal setting.

As far as venues go, they don’t come more stripped back than this. The DJ booth, bar and podiums are hand fashioned from old pallets and cargo netting hangs from the ceiling. Throw in a top of the range sound system, a smoke machine and some well placed lighting and you have all the ingredients needed for the perfect party.  To top it all off we will open the doors to only 500 lucky people for an all night long session with Dyed add to this Chappell on the warm up.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
