Share

DJs, label owners, producers!

Amsterdam Dance Event dates were announced last week – the world’s leading event for electronic music will take place the 16th to 20th October 2019.

In this article, we give you some tips on getting yourself to Amsterdam Dance Event and the first thing we recommend is – get your hotel booked!

The best days for doing business and meeting/networking and growing yourself as DJ is Wednesday 16th to Friday 20th daytime.

If you have any aspirations as DJ / producer/ promoter / label owner you need to be there in those times. The main official conference areas are the Delamaar Theatre, Pioneer Lab, ADE University and the Dylan Hotel. The unofficial ADE areas where lots of the industry hangout are the Andazz Hotel, Pulitzer Hotel and Doffler pub and around those areas.

If you are considering but not sure, do yourself a favour right now! Go to booking.com and reserve a hotel room near the conference, you will Save a fortune and if later you can afford it you can just cancel.

You don’t pay for it now for most rooms, you pay on arrival.

Flights are also dirt cheap now.

Get your hotel booked and it gives you the nudge to making sure you are there, and not one of those people on social media say ‘Really need to do ADE next year’

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
