ADE announces First Confirmed Artists

Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), the world’s largest festival and business conference for electronic music, today announced the first selection of artists for 2019.

The five days and night gathering runs from October 16th-20th, 2019 and is the world’s most extensive festival and conference program for electronic music.

Among them are Amelie Lens, Carl Cox, DJ Nobu, Helena Hauff, Jeff Mills, Nastia, New Order, SOPHIE, The Black Madonna and Tiësto. The organisers expect to welcome 400,000 visitors for the 24th edition.

ADE 2018 featured more than 2,500 artists and 600 speakers in 200 locations. The complete festival and conference program will be announced in the coming months.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
