Roog lands on HouseU with ‘All Of My Days’

Share

Roog is back on HouseU with ‘All Of My Days’, and it lands with that big, clean club pressure he knows inside out.

The Dutch house don has been moving through the scene since the late ’90s, with Hardsoul, Housequake, Defected history and plenty of miles on the clock. First Dutch artist signed to Defected, global tours, compilations, and links with names like Masters At Work, Dennis Ferrer, Martin Solveig and Bob Sinclar. Not a bad CV, that.

‘All Of My Days’ keeps things direct. Rolling percussion, a chunky bassline, bright synth work and a vocal that gives the record its lift without softening the groove. It has that proper vocal house feel, big enough for rooftops and festival stages, but still useful in a sweaty room when the lights are doing their bit.

We’re premiering Roog’s ‘All Of My Days’ today on Data Transmission.

A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
