Dirtybird announce ‘Campout West Coast’ Compilation

Share

The Dirtybird Campout is now 4 years old and gets better every year, and their annual festival of games and friends (and this year, swimming!) wouldn’t be complete without their traditional soundtrack, the “Dirtybird Campout West Compilation”.

They’ve packed in 12 brand new tracks as well as a mix from their newest Dirtybird Player, Steve Darko, who leads off the comp with “Switch It Up”. We unearthed Eli Brown’s remix of Fisher’s “Ya Kidding”, and Sacha Robotti & Kevin Knapp join forces for “King Midas” and Will Clarke remixes Nick Monaco’s “Drama”, which originally appeared on the East Coast comp.

Our debut transmission comes from James Curd, who makes his debut on Dirtybird with KE’s vocals on “Play To Win”. Finishing off the musical journey are several new faces, including Pimpo Gama, MDE, n808, and NiQW, along with Lucati’s “Like 17″, Lubelski’s “Kaya” and “Waremouse” from Elevator Musik & Fritz Carlton.

Check out James Curd ‘Play to Win’ and grab a copy below.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
