Everson drops ‘Right Now’

Share

South East London based everson offers up the first in a string of vinyl releases this year aimed strictly at the dancefloor. ‘Right now’ compiles reese infused UK influences with heady big-rig ready percussion and sound design. With everson taking a familiar sample into exciting but effective territory.

everson writes ‘‘I’ve always loved Fatboy Slim’s ‘Right Here, Right Now’, and I’ve wanted to remix it for quite some time. I stumbled across the original sample while watching the film Strange Days and decided to sample it from the film myself. In fact, that’s the only sample that could tie into the original track by FBS, the rest of the track is original.. So I guess it’s not quite a remix’

Limited to 200 copies, hand stamped and numbered white label and we’ve got the premiere!

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
