Premiere: L.O.R.D.I.E - Beta (Darius Syrossian Remix)

Griffintown Records, formerly Mile End Records, finish off their year in style with a new EP from L.O.R.D.I.E. that features two remixes from Do Not Sleep talent Darius Syrossian.

Opener ‘Alpha’ is a warm and chunky house track that rolls and rolls. Pumping drums drive it along as sandy hi hats and wooden ticks pepper the groove. Some sweeping filters add drama to this simple but effective tune, this is topped off with the first Darius remix.

Next original ‘Beta’ is more rave, with big lumpy drums and clipped vocals all making for a fat and full lava house groove. It’s the sort of big hearted and no frills tune to really make an impact. Our debut transmission comes from Darius Syrossian’s next remix of ‘Beta’ again in crisp fashion with clipped drums and bobbling percussion racing along in tight loops, sucking you in and making you dance as it goes.
