Occasionally we like to go off the beaten track here at DT and deliver something that catches our fans by surprise so after a week of big names premieres from the likes of D&B dons State Of Mind and Berlin based internet phenomenon Wankelmut we thought we’d go leftfield and introduce you to the currently relatively unheralded talents of a duo that have been making a fair amount of noise on both the London scene and more recently the rest of the UK. Step forward Boean.
The pairing have been quickly amassing hype in the capital as residents at Shuush at Fire & Lightbox, supporting the likes of Toyboy & Robin, Hannah Wants, Urulu, Kastle, Kry Wolf, David August amongst others and then made a splash in the production arena with the release of the debut track on Eton Messy Music before remixing indie dance outfit Fenech-Soler.
So with big things planned for the coming months including a slot at Fire this Saturday alongside Flashmob, Andre Crom Leftwing & Kody and Burnski and a date supporting chart toppers Gorgon City at this Brixton date next month we thought the time was right to invite them to DT to deliver one of their well received track giveaways for us.
