Prepare your home raving environments, stock up the fridge, and get your video chats at the ready. Stay at Home Festival part 2 has been announced.
The online music festival that got heads turning earlier in April with three packed days of drum and bass, community spirit and countless references to DJ booth foliage will be returning for a second edition between May 8th – 10th.
With the first instalment of the festival being a resounding success, raising more than £18000 for the NHS, Onyx Recordings and Goat Shed have now revealed they will once again be teaming up to bring the Drum & Bass community another festival-like experience from the comfort of our homes.
This edition of the festival will be slightly different to the first, with all proceeds instead going to Age UK, who are running a Coronavirus Emergency Appeal to support older people who are vulnerable and isolated during the pandemic.
On top of this, there will be an even bigger line-up than there was last time out, with the first two phases including Annix, Benny Page, DJ Hybrid, 24 Hour Garage Girls, Aries and many more. Not to mention a final line-up phase yet to be announced…
For those who were unable to make the first edition and are not sure what to expect, part 1 provided the community with many incredible moments including Upgrade MCing, Amoss DJing in a full hazmat suit and Enta kicking off the festival like no warm-up DJ has ever done.
“After the ridiculous response to the first-ever Stay at Home Festival that raised over £18,000 for the NHS, the team couldn’t wait to plan another edition. We wanted to help another amazing cause with our efforts, so we chose to support Age UK. They help an often-overlooked demographic in the midst of everything corona related, the elderly. We’ve enlisted some of the best in the scene for this one, and you’ve only seen the first two phases! We’ve brought back fan favourites such as Enta and Katalyst, and have plenty more to announce. We hope you enjoy this, donate to the cause and remember to Stay at Home.” – Chris Wickens, Co-Founder of Stay at Home Festival
