Brighton is calling, and it is bringing brains, beats and big seaside energy with it. Brighton Music Conference (BMC) returns from 20th to 23rd May 2026, locking into the coast once again with a stacked programme built for the culture. Set against the backdrop of Brighton beach and its iconic pier, BMC 2026 dives straight into four days of ideas, connection, and proper dancefloor spirit. This is where industry heads, selectors and rising talent collide. Think sunlit networking by day, sweaty late-night moments by night.
The first wave of speakers lands heavy. Anja Schneider, Anne Savage, Arielle Free, Beardyman, Booker T, Carly Wilford, Dave Seaman and Huxley all step up. Then you have Jess Bays, Judge Jules, Judy Griffith from fabric, Just Her, Jumpin Jack Frost and Kenny Dope bringing serious weight. Matt Jam Lamont, Phil Hartnoll, Ralf Kollmann, Robert Luis, Saytek, Scott Diaz, Ski Oakenfull, Simon Dunmore, Tom Middleton, Wideboys and Wildblood and Queenie round things out with proper depth.
Behind the scenes, the industry backbone is just as strong. Expect insight from Aly Gillani, Dean Marsh, Emile Birks, Gemma Farrington, Shamus Damani, Trina Smith and more, covering everything from rights to revenue streams.
“BMC prides itself on being one of the most welcoming and friendly music industry events to attend with an affordable ticket price,” says BMC founder Billy Mauseth. “Last year we also supported more independent venues and provided an expanded conference programme offering more value for attendees. We always work hard to create a space where everyone can come together to learn, be inspired, network and enjoy amazing music and DJ sets.”
Across the weekend, the programme runs deep. The workshop theatre returns with pointblank, bringing hands-on sessions covering production, vocals, DJ skills, content creation, social media, artist tips and tricks and more. Sessions are led by Beardyman, our head honcho Grahame Farmer, Huxley, Saytek, Ski Oakenfull, AlphaTheta and more. Real knowledge, no fluff. Just tools you can take straight back into the studio or booth.
Meanwhile, the well-being space is back after a strong debut. Expect honest conversations around burnout, mental health and life in the scene, with voices including Anne Savage, Emma Cordell, Finlay Johnson, Jumpin Jack Frost, Just Her, Phil Hartnoll, Sally Freeman and Tom Middleton. Plus yoga and sound baths to reset before another long stretch on the dancefloor.
Over at Horizon, the DJ and producer theatre gets into the nuts and bolts. Artist development, getting signed, radio, writing camps and representation all get airtime. There is also a Selador Recordings Q&A with Dave Seaman and Steve Parry, alongside a special session celebrating 30 Years Of Hospital Records. Big moments, no filler.
The Carousel hosts the business end. Contracts, publishing, sync, PR, ticketing, AI and more. Expect sharp insight from Judge Jules, Judy Griffith, Robert Luis and key industry players shaping the next phase of electronic music.
BMC has grown into a key fixture on the UK calendar, pulling in thousands of heads each year. It is not just talk. It is connection, evolution and proper community energy, built from the ground up.
From beachfront conversations to late-night link-ups, BMC 2026 is where ideas will turn into action.
