Samsara Beats drop last of their compilation series ‘Isolation’

‘Isolation’ marks the fourth and final chapter of Samsara Beats’ compilation series following its predecessors ‘Syncopation’, ‘Oscillation’ and ‘Detonation’. But that doesn’t mean that there will be no more compilations. Only the theme of upcoming projects like these this will change. Samsara Beats is a fresh, young and independent record label based in San Francisco focussing on Leftfield Bass, Jungle and Drum & Bass. Over a two year period, the label has managed to release a delicious bouquet of various branches of said genres with these compilations, which in the past featured not only the label’s own artists and newcomers from all over the world but also greats like Samurai Breaks, Paige Julia and Root For The Villain.

Lyndon Jarr, a native Australian and Chinese by choice, co-manages Unchained Recordings, a label that holds up the bass music flag on the other side of the continent. He produces bass music, plays everything from Drum & Bass, Halftime, Dubstep and Broken Techno and has a live / AV project going on which focuses on Atmospheric, Noise and Ambient as well as Jungle / Amen finger drumming. He has been on previous editions of the compilation series and this time he contributes ‘Odyssey’. Tribal-esque percussions and crunchy drums are laid down perfectly on a relaxed fusion of oriental sounds, spaced-out atmospherics and the feeling of adventure as well as to dwell for a while.

‘Odyssey‘ will be available as part of the 20 track strong ‘Isolation’ LP which will be on sale to the public from the 5th June on Bandcamp exclusively and all other platforms from the 15th June via all other known and trusted retailers. The special thing is, that past and present compilation parts are listed as a ‘name your price’ release on Bandcamp! Donations collected this way are used to help charities like Sea Shepherd, an organization that helps to protect our oceans.
